To add LaTeX formulae in dropdown or drag & drop questions, proceed as follows:
- Create your question and click

depending on whether you are creating a dropdown or a drag & drop question.
This procedure is applicable to:- Drag & drop text in text
- Drag & drop text on background
- Dropdown in text
- Dropdown on background
For the procedure for drag & drop in columns, see below.
- Click in the gap which you have just added.
Result: The tab Gap is opened below. - To add a LaTeX formula, click the LaTeX icon next to your text field:
- Copy or type your formula and click OK.
Example:
- If the formula is correct, click OK.
Result: The formula is added to the text field.
Example:
- If the formula is not correct, click the LaTeX icon again to further edit the formula.
Tip: If you are familiar with LaTeX syntax, you can type the formula directly in the text field preceded and followed by ‘$$’.
To add LaTeX formulae to drag & drop in columns, proceed as follows:
- Create your question and add your drag elements.
- Click on an

Result: The tab Element is opened below.
- To add a LaTeX formula, click in the text field.
Result: The icon Insert LaTeX formula is shown.
- Click on Insert LateX formula and copy or type your formula and click OK.
Result: The formula is visualized in the text field.
Example:
- If the formula is not correct, click the LaTeX icon again to further edit the formula.
