About standard reports
There are two types of standard reports in assessmentQ:
- Assignment reports are predefined reports for the assignment of your choice.
- User reports are predefined reports for the user of your choice.
The format of these reports is the same. When you open an assignment report or a user report, you see the same tabs:

Overview
On the Overview tab, you find a useful summary, giving you a quick overview of the results for your assignment or user. -
Score report
In the score report, you find a detailed scoring overview. -
Custom report
In the Custom tab, you can customise your report to your needs and display only the information that is useful for you. -
Certificates
On the Certificates tab, you find the certificates for your assignment or user.Note: If you don't see the Certificates tab, it means you don't have access to the Certification module (more info). To get access to the assessmentQ Certification module, contact Televic Education via support@televic-education.com.
Depending on whether you have opened an assignment or a user report, each tab contains specific information about your assignment or user. For more information, see Contents of an assignment report or Contents of a user report below.
Opening a standard report
To open a standard report, proceed as follows:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
Result: Depending on whether you opened the Assignment or the User reports, the list of assignments or users is displayed.Tip: If you want to customise the table columns on the overview page, click on the table icon in the upper right corner and (de)select the columns of your choice.
- Search for and/or filter the assignment or user for which you want to open the report. More information.
- Depending on whether you opened the Assignment or User reports, click on the assignment or user of your choice.
Result: The Overview tab is opened.
Note: You can also open an assignment report from the Item analysis module. More information.
Contents of an assignment report
Overview tab
On the overview tab, you find a useful summary of your assignment report, giving you a quick overview of the results. The summary contains:
- The name of the assignment and its status.
- The number of participants and how many of them already finished the assignment.
- Time data: the average session time as well as the shortest and longest session.
- Score data: the average, median, worst, and best score.
- Overview of the participants and their progress and total score.
Score report
In the score report, you can find an overview of all participants of your assignment and their score details. On the left side of the table, you can see a list of all participants, if and when they finished the assignment, and their total score if they finished.
Next to the total score, you can find three dots with several extra options for the specific session:
On the right side of the table, you can find all the questions and the scores of each participant.
Custom report
In the custom report tab, you can completely customise the overview report so that it contains all the reporting details you need:
Click on the table icon in the upper right corner :
- (De)select the columns of your choice.
- Click OK.

On the right side, you can find three dots with the extra options for the specific session:
Certificates
In the Certificates tab, you find an overview of all the certificates for this assignment.
You can download, send, or delete these certificates. More information.
Note: If you don't see the Certificates tab, it means you don't have access to the assessmentQ Certification module (more info). To get access to the assessmentQ Certification module, contact Televic Education via support@televic-education.com.
Contents of a user report
Overview tab
On the Overview tab, you find a quick overview of the user's results:
- The name of the user and an info icon to see the user details.
- The number of assignments that have been scheduled for the user and how many of those the user has started and finished.
- Time data: the total time the user has spent on all these assignments as well as the average session time, the shortest, and the longest session time.
- Score data: the user's score for the last 10 assignments compared to the average assignment scores.
- On the right side, you see an overview of all the user's assignments and the number of attempts, the user's progress, and the score for each assignment.
Score report
In the Score report tab, you can find an accordion with the list of your user's assignments.
The list of assignments is ordered by the finish date. The most recently finished assignments are at the top of the list. For each assignment, the grading status and the total score obtained by the user are shown.
Note: A maximum of 100 assignments is displayed. In case there are more than 100 assignments for your user, you will see an information message.
When you expand the accordion of an assignment, you see the following session information:
- Finished on: when the user finished the assignment
- Result: the total score the user obtained for this assignment
- Three dots with several extra options for the specific session:
- All the questions and the scores for each question.
Custom report
In the Custom report tab, you can customise the user report to your needs by using the column selector. That way, you can create a report showing only the information you need.
Certificates
In the Certificates tab, you find an overview of all the certificates obtained by the user.
You can download, send, or delete these certificates. More information.
Note: If you don't see the Certificates tab, it means you don't have access to the assessmentQ Certification module (more information). To get access to the assessmentQ Certification module, contact Televic Education via support@televic-education.com.
Searching and filtering a standard report
To narrow down the reports to the information you need, you can use various search and filter options.
To search and/or filter a standard report, proceed as follows:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
Result: Depending on whether you opened Assignment or User reports, the list of assignments or users is displayed. At the top of the page, you see a search and filter bar. - Fill in the fields you want to search and/or filter on. See below.
Result: The overview is filtered based on the selected criteria. - Open the report of your choice. More information.
Result: The Overview tab of the report is opened. Above the tabs, you will again see a search and filter bar. - Fill in the fields you want to search and/or filter on. See below.
Result: The data in the report are filtered based on your criteria. The search and/or filter criteria are applied to all tabs in the report (Overview, Score report, and Custom report).
Search and filter criteria
Below you find an overview of the search and filter criteria in the standard assessmentQ reports.
- Session access code: Each session of a participant has a unique session code. You can find these access codes on the tab Custom report. Be aware that you need to enter the full session access code to get a result.

Notes:
- The search and filter criteria depend on the type of report you have opened.
For example: In Assignment reports, you can filter by the behaviour of assignments. Filtering by assignment behaviour is not possible in User reports. - The search and filter criteria in the overview lists are different from those in the detailed reports.
For example: Filtering by session status or attempts is only possible in the detailed reports under the reporting tabs.
Exporting a standard report to Excel
Exporting an Assignment or User report to Excel gives you the possibility to perform your own analysis of the raw data via Excel or another statistical tool.
Exporting a report to Excel is possible for:

multiple assignment or user reports
The export takes into account the filters that you applied on the overview page in the Assignment or User reports module. This way you can control which results are exported to Excel.

a specific assignment or user report
The Excel export contains the session results of the Assignment or User of your choice. The export not only takes into account the filters that you applied, but you can also choose which information to include in the export.
Exporting a report for multiple assignments or users
To export a report for multiple assignments or users, proceed as follows :
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
Result: Depending on whether you opened Assignment or User reports, the list of assignments or users is displayed. - Optionally, search and/or filter the assignments or the users of your choice. More information.
- Click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Export to Excel.
Result: Your data will be exported to an Excel file in the background and can be downloaded in your notification center when ready.
Exporting a report for a specific assignment or user
To export a report for a specific assignment or user, proceed as follows :
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
Result: Depending on whether you opened Assignment or User reports, the list of assignments or users is displayed. - Search and/or filter the assignment or the user of your choice. More information.
- On the overview page:
- Click on the three dots next to the assignment or user of your choice and select Export > Export to Excel, or
- Open the report of your choice (more information), click on the three dots in the upper right corner, and select Export > Export to Excel.
- Choose what your Excel file should include and click Export.
Result: Your data will be exported to an Excel file in the background and can be found in your notification center when ready. Depending on the export options you selected, the Excel file can contain multiple tabs.
Exporting a standard report to PDF
Exporting a report to PDF gives you the possibility to send a summary to stakeholders with only the information they are interested in.
Exporting a report to PDF is possible for:
- multiple assignment or user reports
- a specific assignment or user report
The export takes into account the filters that you applied in the Assignment or User reports module. This way you can control which results are exported to PDF.
In addition, you can customise the contents of your report by choosing which information to include in the export.
Exporting a report for multiple assignments or users
To export a report for multiple assignments or users, proceed as follows :
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
Result: Depending on whether you opened Assignment or User reports, the list of assignments or users is displayed. - Optionally, search and/or filter the assignments or the users of your choice. More information.
- Click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Export to PDF.
Result: The Export options dialog window appears. - Choose which information your PDF file should include, select the orientation of your report (portrait or landscape), and click OK.
Result: Your data will be exported in the background and can be found for download in your notification center when ready.
Exporting a report for a specific assignment or user
To export a report for a specific assignment or user, proceed as follows :
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
Result: Depending on whether you opened Assignment or User reports, the list of assignments or users is displayed. - Search and/or filter the assignment or the user of your choice. More information.
- On the overview page:
- Click on the three dots next to the assignment or user of your choice and select Export > Export to PDF, or
- Open the report of your choice (more information), click on the three dots in the upper right corner, and select Export > Export to PDF.
- Choose what your PDF file should include and press Export.
Result: Your data will be exported in the background and can be found for download in your notification center when ready.
Viewing and exporting session reports
In a standard report, you can click on a session to see the session report. A session report gives you a detailed insight into the participant's performance. You can also export the session report to PDF.

Note: Viewing or exporting a session report is only possible if the sessions have been finished. More information.
Viewing a session report
You can open a session report from either the Overview tab, the Score report tab, or the Custom report tab in a standard report:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
- Open the assignment or user report of your choice. More information.
Result: The Overview tab of your report is opened. In the Results section on the right, you see an overview of all the sessions in your report. - To open a session report:
- Click on the session of your choice in the Results section of the Overview tab, or
- Open the Score report tab or the Custom report tab and click on the session of your choice.
Exporting session reports to PDF
To export a report for one session, proceed as follows:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
- Open the assignment or user report of your choice. More information.
Result: The Overview tab of your report is opened. - Open the Score report tab or the Custom report tab.
- Click on the three dots at the right side of the session of your choice and select Export to PDF.
Result: The Export to PDF dialog window appears. - Select which information you want to see in the PDF file:
- Click Export.
Result: Your data will be exported to a PDF file in the background and can be downloaded in your notification center when ready.
To export the report for multiple sessions of an assignment or user, proceed as follows:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
Result: Depending on whether you opened Assignment or User reports, the list of assignments or users is displayed. - Optionally, search and/or filter the assignments or the users of your choice. More information.
- Click on the three dots next to the assignment or user of your choice. Alternatively, open the assignment or user report of your choice and click on the three dots in the upper right corner.
- Select Export > Export sessions (zip).
Result: The Export to PDF dialog window appears. - Select which information you want to see in the PDF files:
- Click Export.
Result: A zip file is generated containing the session reports of your assignment or user that match the search or filter criteria you used. You will be able to download the zip file from your notification center when ready.Note: The zip file can contain a maximum of 500 sessions. If more than 500 sessions have to be exported, you will see a message advising you to use filters to refine the number of sessions.
Viewing and printing a participant's answer
In a standard report, you can open a session to see the participant's answers.
You can also export the answers to PDF.
Note: Viewing or printing a participant's answers is only possible if the session is finished. More information.
To view or print a participant's answers, proceed as follows:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
- Open the assignment or user report of your choice. More information.
Result: The Overview tab of your report is opened. - Open the Score report tab or the Custom report tab.
- Click on the three dots at the right side of the session of your choice

If you want to view the participant's answers, select View answers.
Result: The session is opened in review mode in the player. -
If you want to print the participant's answers:
- Select Print answers.
- Select the print options of your choice.
- Click OK.
Viewing and exporting a session history
If there is a suspicion of fraud, or a discussion about the way an exam progressed, you can consult the session history. There you can find an overview of the lifecycle of each session as well as additional information on events that occurred during the participant's session.
Note: The session history is also available in the Monitoring module. More information.
Viewing the session history
To view and export the session history, proceed as follows:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
- Open the assignment or user report of your choice. More information.
Result: The Overview tab of your report is opened. - Open the Score report tab or the Custom report tab.

Select the three dots next to the session of your choice and select Session history.
Result: The session history is displayed and shows which action was performed by whom and when. - If you want to export the session history, click Export session history in the left bottom corner.
Result: You'll be able to download the file from the notification center when the export is ready.
Viewing, downloading, forwarding, or deleting obtained certificates
Users receive a certificate when they pass an assignment that is linked to a certificate.
A backup of the certificates is available at any time in the assessmentQ standard reporting modules.
As a group responsible, you can:
- view the obtained certificates.
- download the certificates for local storage.
- send a certificate to a user in case the user lost his certificate or changed his email address, for example.
- delete a certificate obtained by a user.
Notes:
- You find all these options in the Certificates tab of the User or Assignment reports modules. If you don't see the Certificates tab, it means you don't have access to the assessmentQ Certification module (more information). To get access to the assessmentQ Certification module, contact Televic Education via support@televic-education.com.
- Participants can also download their certificates from the portal provided the portal setting for certificates is activated. More information.
Procedure
To view, download, forward, or delete a certificate, proceed as follows:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
Result: Depending on whether you opened Assignment or User reports, the list of assignments or users is displayed. - Search and/or filter the assignment for which or the user for whom you want to see the certificates. More information.

Open the report of your choice. More information.
Result: The Overview tab of the report is opened. - Open the Certificates tab.
Result: You see the obtained certificates for the selected assignment or user. - If you want to:
- download a certificate, click on the three dots at the right side of the certificate of your choice, and select Download.
Result: You will be able to download the certificate from the notification center when the export is ready.
- send a certificate to a user, click on the three dots at the right side of the certificate of your choice, and select Send by e-mail.
Result: The user will receive an e-mail with his personal certificate attached in PDF format. - delete a certificate, click on the three dots at the right side of the certificate of your choice, and select Delete.
Result: The certificate is removed (only for the selected user).
- download a certificate, click on the three dots at the right side of the certificate of your choice, and select Download.
Finishing sessions
Some reporting functionalities for sessions, such as printing a session report, or viewing or exporting a participant's answers, are only possible if the sessions are finished.
If you want to use these functionalities in a standard report and you notice that they are not available, it means that there are unfinished sessions (for example, participants forgot to finish their session). As a group responsible, you can then finish these sessions via the standard reporting modules.
Notes:
- When you finish a session, the participant's assignment is submitted. The participant can no longer continue working on the assignment. So it is important not to finish sessions if participants still need to work on the assignment.
- It is also possible to finish sessions via the Monitoring module. More information.
Finishing a single session
To finish a session, proceed as follows:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
- Open the assignment or user report of your choice. More information.
Result: The Overview tab of your report is opened. - Open the Score report tab or the Custom report tab.
- Click on the three dots at the right side of the session of your choice and select Finish session.
Result: The participant's session is finished. If the participant is still working on it in the assessmentQ player, he will see a popup notifying him that his session has been finished.
Finishing multiple sessions
In the Assignments reports module, you can simultaneously finish multiple sessions of the same assignment:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports.
Result: The list of assignments is displayed. - Click on the three dots next to the assignment of your choice. Alternatively, open the assignment report of your choice and click on the three dots in the upper right corner.
- Select Finish all sessions.
Result: The participants' sessions are finished. If the participants are still working in the assessmentQ player, they will see a popup notifying them that their session has been finished.
Tip: If you finish all sessions, you will also finish unstarted sessions (if any). If you do not want to finish unstarted sessions, it is recommended to filter by sessions that are not finished yet.
Deleting a session
When a specific session must not be taken into account or shown in the reports, you can choose to delete the session. Sessions that must be deleted are usually test sessions of test users that must not be taken into account in the assignment report overview.
Warning: When you delete a session, the participant's answers are permanently deleted. Deleting a session is an action that cannot be undone!
Tip: If all sessions are deleted from an assignment, the assignment status changes automatically from Live to Approved. As a result, the assignment can be edited again.
Procedure
To delete a session, proceed as follows:
- Go to Results > Assignment reports or Results > User reports.
- Open the assignment or user report of your choice. More information.
Result: The Overview tab of your report is opened. - Open the Score report tab or the Custom report tab.
- If required, adjust the Session and Attempt filters to make sure that the correct sessions are displayed in the overview.
- Select the three dots next to the session you want to permanently delete and press Delete.
Result: A pop-up appears to confirm the action.Note: You need appropriate rights to have access to the Delete option. If you don't see the Delete option, contact the administrator of your assessmentQ environment.
- Select Delete.
Result: The results of the session are permanently deleted from all reports and statistics.
