Manual scoring by item

Procedure

To manually score by item, proceed as follows:

1. Click the By item tab in the Manual Scoring module.
   Result: The overview page is shown, listing all the publications for which you have coaching rights.
2. Select the publication(s) for which you want to assign scores and click Next selection at the bottom right.
3. Expand the publication(s) by clicking  to see all the items.
4. Select the items for which you want to score the answers and click Scoring at the bottom of the screen.
5. Expand the publication(s) by clicking  to see all the users’ sessions for an item.

   Tip: Sessions for which manual scoring is required, are highlighted.

6. Click on a session to see the user’s answer.
   Result: The answer is shown at the right of the screen.
7. Select one of the options below to know how to continue:
   • Manually scoring an open question
   • Manually scoring a recording exercise
   • Manually scoring an upload file(s) exercise
8. Repeat steps 6 to 7 to score the remaining items.
