Assigning additional back office rights to a user group

Background

You can assign access rights to a user group for:

    • Trees in the workspace
    • Scenarios
    • Publications
    • Trees in the media library.

Tip: Assigning back office access rights is only relevant for back office users.
You can only assign access rights to trees (root folders) in the workspace and media library, not to branches (subfolders).

Procedure

Proceed as follows to assign access rights for Scenarios, Publications or Trees in the workspace:

  1. In the Management module, select Groups.
  2. Select Edit in the rightmost column next to the user group to which you want to assign access rights.
  3. Open the tab of your choice (Trees, Scenarios or Publications)
  4. Click +Add at the bottom of the page.
  5. Select one or more items out of the search results and click Ok.

    Tip: To select more than one item, press Shift or Ctrl on your keyboard.

To assign access rights to a tree in the media library, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Management module, select Groups.
  2. Select Edit in the rightmost column next to the user group to which you want to assign access rights for the Media library.
  3. Open the tab Media library and click Add at the bottom of the page.
    Result: The Add media library appears.
  4. In the Add media library window:
    • Enter (part of) the name of the tree in the media library for which you want to assign access rights.
    • Click enter to start the search.
      The tree (if available) will be displayed.

      Warning: You can only assign access rights to root folders.

    • Select this folder and click Ok.
