Monitoring options
When the teacher clicks a booth in the main screen, he can closely monitor what the participant is doing. He can:
- Listen to the participant doing the interpreting exercise.
- Monitor the participant's PC screen.
- Monitor the booth camera image.
Using the intercom
If necessary, the teacher can activate an intercom function, which allows him to talk privately with the participant, without other booths hearing what is being discussed.
Using markers
During an interpreting exercise with collected recordings, the teacher will prefer not to interrupt the participant using the intercom function. Instead, he can click the Marker button which indicates that something caught his attention at that point of the speech, and he will want to return to that during the review phase at the end of the exercise. Each click will store a marker along with the recorded speech.
