3. Adding an activity to a lecture

Background

A lecture in collaborationQ can contain several activities:

To demonstrate how to add an activity, we will use a quiz/poll activity. 

Procedure

To add a (quiz/poll) activity to the lecture, proceed as follows:

1. Open your lecture by clicking it on the portal.
   Result: The lecture screen appears and the Activities menu is active.
2. Click +Add (top right).
   Result: The Add activity screen appears.
3. Click Quiz / Poll.
4. Click the type of question you want to add: multiple choice.
   

   Tip: Hover over each icon to see its question type.

   Result: Your activity has been created with a default name, and you can start editing the selected question type.
5. Optionally, click the activity name (e.g. "New Quiz") at the top of the page to change the name of your activity: Capital cities of the world. 
6. Edit your question.

7. Click Save in the top right corner of the page.
   Result: Your question and the Quiz / Poll activity have been added. You can see a preview of the question you just added.
