5. Monitoring an activity in progress

Seeing the progress

To see the progress of an activity, proceed as follows:

  1. Click the lecture in the portal.
  2. In the lecture screen, select the activity you just started: Capital cities of the world. 
    Result: The activity detail page opens and you can see the progress for each question.

Example:

 Tip:

The green color indicates participants that finished the question. The red color indicates participants that started the question, but did not finish it yet. The white part of the progress bar indicates participants that are taking part in the activity, but did not start, nor finish the question yet. The bar will be blue for a poll question, because there is no right or wrong answer for this question type. 

The length of the color fill of the progress bar of a question indicates how many participants of all participants that started the activity have finished the question.

Preview of results

To see a preview of results, proceed as follows:

  1. Click the lecture in the portal.
  2. Select the activity in the lecture screen. 
    Result: The activity detail page opens and you can see the progress for each question.
  3. Click on your question to see a preview.
    Result: A percentual distribution of chosen answer possibilities is shown.

Seeing participants and their answers

To see the answers of individual participants, proceed as follows:

  1. Click the lecture in the portal.
  2. Click the activity in the lecture screen. 
    Result: The activity detail page opens and you can see the progress for each question.
  3. Click on the question.
  4. Click Participants in the right-hand-side of the screen.
    Result: A list of all participants (that answered the question) and their answer is shown.
