Creating a fill gaps question

Procedure

To create a fill gaps question, proceed as follows:

  1. Open your lecture by clicking it on the portal.
    Result: The lecture screen appears and the Activities menu is active.
  2. Click  in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Select the activity type Quiz/poll
  4. Click the Fill gaps icon. 
  5. Complete the Question tab:
    • Type your text.
    • Click + Add gap to insert a gap on the current cursor location. 
    • Click the gap and enter the correct answer(s).
    • (Un)check Not case-sensitive.
      Note: If this option is enabled, collaborationQ makes no difference between for instance "Napoleon" and "napoleon". Both will be correct. 
    • (Un)check ignore diacritics.
      Note: If this option is enabled, collaborationQ makes no difference between for instance "Frédérique" and "Frederique". Both will be correct. 
  6. Click Scoring and complete this tab. 
  7. Click Feedback and complete this tab.
    • General feedback appears always after completing a question.
    • Positive feedback appears when the question has been answered correctly.
    • Negative feedback appears when the question has been answered wrongly.
    • Click Save (top right) to create this question.

Result: The question has been created in the activity.
