What happens if the group cannot be exactly divided in a number of subgroups?

Question

What happens if the group cannot be exactly divided in a number of subgroups, e.g. conversation per 5, but there are 18 students, conversation per 2, but there are 7 students.

Answer

In case of a conversation per 2, the extra participant is added to the last group.
In case of a conversation per 3 or more, an extra group is created with the extra participants only.
