Disabling the confirmation dialog in Chrome
Chrome will ask to open the Edumatic application in a pop-up:
In order to disable this pop-up:
- Activate the 'Always open these types of links in the associated app' checkbox (if not available yet) by making a change to the Registry settings using the following script: Chrome_ExternalProtocolDialogShowAlwaysOpenCheckbox.reg (download & double-click the script to execute).
- When the popup window is displayed, mark the checkbox.
In order to revert the setting (hence, enable the popup again), clear the browser data.
Disabling the confirmation dialog in Firefox
In the case of Firefox, the confirmation dialog can be disabled by checking the box Remember my choice for Edumatic links.
Disabling the confirmation dialog in Edge
In the case of Microsoft Edge, a popup dialog will always be shown asking to switch apps.
In order to disable this warning for Edumatic, changes to the Registry must be made using the following script: Edge_DisableSwitchNotification.reg (download & double-click the script to execute)
For the latest version of Edge (Chromium based), execute the following script to make changes to the Registry: Edge_ExternalProtocolDialogShowAlwaysOpenCheckbox.reg. This will enable a checkbox on the pop-up window. Mark the checkbox in order to avoid showing the dialog box again.
