Background
It is possible that a question turns out to be incorrect or incomplete when an exam is already finished. In that case, you can eliminate the question.
Eliminating means that you will not take the scores of the question into account because you remove the question from the assignment. The maximum score of the assignment will then decrease.
Procedure
To eliminate a question, proceed as follows:
- Select Reporting in the main menu of assessmentQ.
Result: you will see the Grading submodule within Reporting. - Click on Analysis in the left-hand navigation.
Result: The Analysis module appears. - Select your assignment.
- Click on the three dots next to the item you want to eliminate and select Eliminate.
- Optionally, add a comment why you want to eliminate this question and click on Yes.
Result: The maximum score of the assignment has decreased by the maximum score of the eliminated item. The scores for this item are no longer taken into account. When the participant reviews his assignment, the item is no longer shown. The participant will see a message that the item was eliminated.
