Background
There are two ways to generate and export a report for a group of users:
- Via Results > Assignment reports
In the Assignment reports module, you can see a predefined assignment report and narrow this down to the group of users of your choice. For more information, see Working with standard reports. - Via Results > Advanced reports
In the Advanced reports module, you can create your own fully customised report based on your own selection of users or group of users and assignments. For more information, see Working with advanced reporting.
Via Assignment reports
To view and export a standard report for a group, proceed as follows:
- Open Results > Assignment reports.
Result: The list of assignments is displayed. - Search for and/or filter the assignment for which you want to generate the report. More information.
- Click on the assignment of your choice.
Result: The assignment report is displayed. At the top of the page, you see the Search bar. - Filter on the group of your choice by entering (part of) the name of your group in the field Group.
Result: The assignment report is updated showing only the results of the users in your group.Tip: You can also filter on one or more users via the User filter.
- Click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Export.
- Select Export to PDF or Export to Excel.
Result: Your data will be exported to a PDF or Excel file in the background and can be downloaded in your notification center when ready.
Via Advanced reports
To view and export an advanced report for a group, proceed as follows:
- Go to Results > Advanced reports.
Result: You see the advanced reports overview page. -
Click the +Add button at the top right of the overview page.
Result: A draft version of your advanced report is created. - Enter the report name in the breadcrumb at the top.
- In the section Select and organise data:
- Click on the first level that you want to see in your report. For example, click on Users.
Result: The level you selected is added at the top. By default, all data that is available to you for this level (for example, all your users) will be shown in the report. - Refine the data selection for the selected level.
For example, select specific users.
- Select the next level(s) of your report.
For example:
- Click on the first level that you want to see in your report. For example, click on Users.
- Optionally, refine the data selection of sessions in the section Filters below.
- Click Generate to obtain your report.
Result: Your report will be generated in the background and can be found in your notification center when ready. In the advanced reports overview, your report has the status In progress as long as it is being generated. When it is generated, the status changes to Ready.
