Background
If you have both an author role and a scheduler role, you can directly publish your assignment to make it available to your participants:
- via a schedule on the portal
- via a schedule with a sign-in code
- via an LTI schedule
- via a schedule with a direct link
When publishing an assignment, you will automatically be redirected from the Assignments module to the Schedules modules. More information.
Procedure
Proceed as follows to publish your assignment:
- Go to Authoring > Assignments.
Result: You see a flat list of all your assignments.Tip: You can only publish assignments that have the status Approved or Live. Therefore, it is recommended to filter by the status Approved and/or Live.

Click on the three dots next to the assignment of your choice and select Publish.
Result: You see the Schedule assignment pop-up.
Notes:
- In order to have access to the Schedule options, you need to have the role of a scheduler next to your author role. If you don't have this role, please contact your assessmentQ administrator.
- For the LTI option to be available, an LTI integration needs to be set up between your assessmentQ environment and your LMS. If you are interested in an LTI interface with assessmentQ, please contact Televic Education via support@televic-education.com.
- Select the delivery method of your choice.
Result: You are automatically redirected to the Schedules module. - Create your schedule. For more information about creating a schedule, please refer to the documentation for the corresponding delivery type, see:
- Click Save.
Result: Your newly created schedule is added to the Schedules overview.
