Background
Exporting a report to Excel gives you the possibility to perform your own analysis of the raw data via Excel or another statistical tool.
Exporting a report to Excel is possible for:
- multiple assignment or user reports
The export takes into account the filters that you applied on the overview page in the Assignment or User reports module. This way you can control which results are exported to Excel. - a specific assignment or user report
The Excel export contains the session results of the Assignment or User of your choice. The export not only takes into account the filters that you applied, but you can also choose which information to include in the export.
Exporting a report for multiple assignments or users
To export a report for multiple assignments or users, proceed as follows :
- Select Reporting in the main menu of assessmentQ
.
- In the navigation bar on the left-hand side of your screen, select the type of report you need (Assignment reports or User reports).
Result: Depending on whether you opened Assignment or User reports, the list of assignments or users is displayed. - Optionally, search and/or filter the assignments or the users of your choice. More info.
- Click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Export to Excel.
Result: Your data is exported to an Excel file and can be found in your downloads.
Exporting a report for a specific assignment or user
To export a report for a specific assignment or user, proceed as follows :
- Select Reporting in the main menu of assessmentQ
.
- In the navigation bar on the left-hand side of your screen, select the type of report you need (Assignment reports or User reports).
Result: Depending on whether you opened Assignment or User reports, the list of assignments or users is displayed. - Search and/or filter the assignment or the user of your choice. More info.
- On the overview page:
- Click on the three dots next to the assignment or user of your choice and select Export > Export to Excel, or
- Open the report of your choice (more info), click on the three dots in the upper right corner, and select Export > Export to Excel.
- Choose what your Excel file should include and click Export.
Result: Your data is exported to an Excel file and can be found in your downloads. Depending on the export options you selected, the Excel file can contain multiple tabs.
