Background
A frequently used way to publish assessmentQ assignments for participants is by scheduling the assignments on the assessmentQ portal.
The participants need to log on to the assessmentQ portal to see their schedules.

After logging on to the assessmentQ portal, the participants see their schedules overview.
The participants can:
- use the search and filter bar to easily find a schedule.
- click through on a schedule to see which assignments it contains.
- consult their schedule results via the Results button at the top right.
Note: The Results button and the Search and filter bar are portal settings that need to be activated by the assessmentQ administrator in order to be shown on the assessmentQ portal.

On assessmentQ portal homepage, the participants can click through a schedule to see the assignments it contains.
Types of assignments
There are two types of assignments: exercises and exams. The distinction is made clear through the icons:
- : Participants can make exercise an unlimited number of times.
- : Participants can take an exam only once.
Note: Exams can be secured. Secured exams will show an additional icon: . For more information on how to take a secured assignment, see Taking an exam in SEB.
Starting, resuming, restarting or reviewing an assignment
The participants can:
- Start an assignment
The Start button is available for assignments that have not been started yet by the participants. When clicking Start, the assignment is opened in the assessmentQ player. A new session is created. - Resume an assignment
The Resume button is available for assignments that have been started by the participants, but have not been finished. When clicking Resume, the session will be opened and the participants will see the answers they previously entered. - Restart an assignment
The Restart button is only available for assignments of the type Exercise. When clicking Restart, a new session will be started (the participants will not see their previous answers as they are now working in a new session). - Review an assignment
The Review button is only available for assignments for which a review period has been added. When clicking the Review button, the assignment is launched in review mode. The participants can navigate through the assignment and they can see their answers, but they cannot make any changes.
Note:
When a schedule is expired, the participants will still be able to click through these schedules to see which assignments it contains, but they will no longer be able to start or resume the assignments. They will only be able to review the assignments provided a review period has been added to the schedule.More information
