The Confidea Flex units with "dual delegate" license can be used in 2 different configurations :
- they can be used as regular "dual delegate" units, which means that 2 headphones can be connected and 2 delegates can independently choose the language channel they listen to.
- in a training environment, they can also be used as a single "dual channel" unit. In that case only one set of headphones is used, connected to the left side headphones connector, and the delegate can choose which channel (s)he listens to in left and right ear independently. This typically allows to compare floor and interpretation, or possibly also to compare the interpretation of 2 students.
"ERS configurator" is specific administrator tool, used for configuring the conference training system. An administrator can also use this tool to switch between the 2 delegate unit modes described above :
However, a recent version of interpreterQ (v.2.0.19) allows any teacher to manage this same option :
As mentioned in the screenshot above, the delegate unit at the teacher desk is always configured as stereo unit, and is not influenced by the selected option.
