Background
You can interrupt the import process when you are
- selecting the correct translator for the imported translations, and
- updating the segments of the imported translations.
This allows you not to lose any work when you are importing a lot of translations at once.
Interrupting the import process
To interrupt the import process, click the button Close and continue later at the bottom of the import window.
Result: The import window is closed and the text "1 incomplete import" is added next to the title of the translation assignment under Revisions.
Resuming the import process
Proceed as follows to resume the import process for a translation assignment:
- Navigate to the translation assignment under Revisions
- Click the link "[number] incomplete import(s)" or click the 3 dots in the top right corner and select Import.
Result: the Import translations window appears and the incomplete imports are displayed in the left column. The name of the incomplete import is always the date and time when you clicked on Close and continue later. - Click the name of the import process you want to resume.
Result: You can continue the import process where you left off.
Deleting an incomplete import
Proceed as follows to delete a incomplete import and disregard the translations you selected:
- Navigate to the translation assignment under Revisions.
- Click the link "[number] incomplete import(s)" or click the 3 dots in the top right corner and select Import.
Result: the Import translations window appears and the incomplete imports are displayed in the left column. - Click the icon of the trash can next to the name of the import process you want to delete.
Result: A warning message appears asking if you are sure you want to delete the import. - Click Yes.
Result: The import is deleted.
