Exporting your translation assignment

Background

As a translator, you can export your translation assignment to .xlf so you can perform the actual translation in your own CAT tool.

Procedure

Proceed as follows to export the source text of your translation assignment to .xlf:

1. Click the Apps icon in the top bar  and select Portal. 
   Result: The Portal module appears.
2. Click on the translation assignment you want to work on.
   Result: The translation assignment appears.
3. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select Export source text to .xlf.
   Result: An .xlf file is downloaded to your computer and you can start the translation in your favourite CAT tool.
